I just had a woman call to offer me the opportunity to refinance my mortgage. Which one, I wonder? The one on this house we're selling or the one we're closing on on Thursday?

I laughed and told her we weren't the clients she was looking for. She said that it didn't matter how poor my credit was, this wonderful opportunity could still be mine!

Um... "That's not quite what I meant," I said.

Besides, there's no way they could beat either mortgage rate, especially if they're not particular about who they take.
