quickie

We do the final walk-through and close on the house tomorrow. Then we move. Then we hire a real estate agent. I know this order is odd. But it's working for us.

I ate cottage cheese for dinner. Out of the carton. (No, not the whole carton, just what was remaining from previous eatings.) But I have an apple pie in the oven, and yummy cheddar in the fridge, and Vanilla Bean ice cream in the freezer. It all balances out.

The GC spent hours working on the carpet. The paint spot looks tons better. I felt a bit bad for him; he could have been off making actual money. However, as he put it, it's part of the job. That's right. I still get to scrape the sinks, though.

And lots of stuff is falling apart, and my hormones are going insane, and my lack of sleep is becoming annoying, and the house is pissing me off, and the mortgage company thinks we're supposed to be giving them 10k more than we told them (which we'll fix when business hours start tomorrow -- we just found out at the end of business hours today), and yet life is still good. How does that work?

It must be because Avadore is watching Pooh's Heffalump Movie. I love Netflix.
