stardust

So, for the last several weeks I have been giving Rice a running countdown of when Stardust is opening, and today is the day. Stardust, is, of course, the filmed adaptation of a comic/graphic novel/novel by Neil Gaiman.

In one hour I will be at the theater, waiting for the show to start.

It will be fabulous, I am positive.

Oh sure, plot will be changed, as will characters, and some of my favorite characters and bits will be gone, but still I am convinced it will be a fabulously entertaining fantasy film, and I will surely enjoy it.

The other thing I suspect that may be important to note is that I just love movies, and I adore going to a good movie theater. I do it infrequently because I am moderately picky about what I go see and there are other places for money to go, like books, and food, but as a general rule, going to the movies is one of my favorite things.
