Do you ever get the feeling that there are days that are just bad?

This day, for example. I mean, there's the obvious events that occurred six years ago this morning, and then there's the fact that this day, this very day in 2007, marks the 150th anniversary of the Mountain Meadows Massacre.

Of course, it's also the (15th? 16th?) anniversary of the day my step-mother and father met, and that was theoretically a good day.

Been very sick. Stuck in bed sick since the second of the month. But things are looking up now and the usual presence here online will probably return.

I am grateful that I have a very comfortable bed.

I am not grateful for my stomach. I haven't had such things happen since my appendix ruptured when I was 12.
