careers

I saw this all over LJ yesterday, and it's even more so today.
1. Go to www.careercruising.com
2. Put in Username: nycareers - Password: landmark
3. Take the 'Career Matchmaker' questions at the upper left corner
(you need to pick a name there first so the test can address you properly :)
4. Post your top 20 results. Italicize those careers you've considered at some point, bold those you've done.
Here's mine:

1. Anthropologist (Wow, this test is good...)
2. Historian
3. Political Aide
4. Genetic Counselor (I was really good at the stuff that went into genetic counseling. My genetics prof even pointed out I should consider genetic counseling. I laughed, but only a little bit. I was an anthrogeek, but knew that there's probably more jobs for genetic counselors than anthrogeeks.)
5. Critic
6. Researcher
7. Professor (Er, I taught college courses, but not as a full prof.)
8. Writer
9. Pharmacist
10. Print Journalist
11. Comedian (Is this a joke?)
12. Forensic Specialist (Did some of this in school, and uh, only if there's no soft tissue. I don't do soft tissue.)
13. Actor
14. Librarian
15. Television and Radio Reporter (NPR anyone?)
16. Archivist
17. Translator
18. Editor
19. Adoption Counselor
20. Judge
