On Monday nights, as a general rule, we spend time together as a family. We spend time together at other times too, but Monday is exclusive "us" night.

I baked bread for Rice today, so it was strangely appropriate that Avadore brought home from school some whole wheat flour with instructions on how to bake bread. (Which is not a new concept here, but very thoughtful for those who don't bake a lot of bread, and it's been years since I've made glutenated bread from scratch, and I had never done a lot of it.)

So, tonight, we listened to selections¹ from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack and baked bread.

I told Rice I felt eighteen again.
