Electric Grandmother

I have my own place now in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I am about half an hour from the ocean. I have a job working wedding events and freelance writing. The freelance writing is quite the thing. Yesterday I wrote about 1980's fashion and how to measure your BMI using the WHR. Who knew I'd ever get paid for anything I learned as an anthrogeek? :)

The wedding events are also quite the thing, but that's a story for another time. I really should start writing about the wedding events. Most of them are pretty quiet, but sometimes we get some wild ones who let everything, and I mean everything, hang out. And then they give me a big old kiss O.o.

Of course, I'm still writing fiction.

I'm coming up on a year from Clarion West, on June 20th. We will see what this summer holds. Lots of weddings and writing wild articles about cold sores and pap smears and BMI's, I suppose.
