Bonus points to anyone who gets the reference in the subject line. Heck, triple bonus points. (I'm guessing that maybe Jeffrey might get it, if he's reading . . . )

I feel like I'm wasting this one, that's for sure. It's hot and sunny outside, and I hear my mother's voice in my ear: "It's a beautiful day! Why are you INSIDE???" So I feel I should go somewhere . . . to the pool, of course, which is exactly where she would have gone . . . but Emma's (gay) friend Jeremy has spent the night (he downstairs, she upstairs), and I feel as though I should be here when the teenagers awaken.

So I could be working on the quizzes for my BizComm classes, but I'm not. Procrastinating on those has also led me to not do a lot of other things, such as: Make an attempt to transform several t-shirts into tank tops (I got ribbing and pins yesterday in preparation for this effort); clear a space for the dishwasher we hope to purchase maybe in a few weeks; do any other kind of writing (including email I owe to far-flung friends - hi, Rob!); clean the bedroom; read next month's book club book (Leo Africanus); put all my stuff on my bike and see what's like to ride it fully loaded; and the list goes on.

Instead I've been reading random blogs on Blogger and obsessively checking my e-mail. But I've about had it with my inactivity, here, and so maybe, just maybe, I'll go do something more active/productive . . .
