2004-03-15 8:45 PM Jumping on the Blogwagon Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (8) Jeez. How do you start one of these?
Honestly, I'm not really sure that I have a reason for putting another weblog online at this point, but I feel an urge to give it another go. My first attempt -- back at the beginning of 2002 -- on Blogger.com went over well for a couple of weeks, but then -- like many personal, good-intentioned projects I commence -- fell apart quickly. Well, I'm inspried again. Recently I've been a casual onlooker of various online journals, and I've discovered a reason to get back into keeping an online presence: Jason Lundberg and Michael Jasper, both writer friends of mine, have web journals that demonstrate just how collaborative the act of "blogging" can be. Their journals are incredibly community-oriented and there is a constant exchange of ideas, emotions, and friendly support between readers. At the same time, these guys are able to keep a creative written record of their lives, thoughts, and inspirations. I've always liked the idea of having a group of like-minded individuals to hang out and share ideas with, and since cyberspace makes this so easy, I'm going to stake another claim on the wild wild web's e-frontier and give blogging another shot. I'm also going to make sure that Mike and Jason give me a hefty e-kick to the e-ass if I don't post to this rag semi-regularly! Read/Post Comments (8) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
