Spring is definitely here, and the end of the semester approaches. Today, the last day of UNC classes, an undergrad jogged up alongside me while I was walking back to my office after lunch. I turned my head, noticing that he was shirtless. He veered away from me, moving along the leftward down-sloping, diagonal path through the middle of campus, and I kept straight on my course to Dey Hall.

As I continued walking, I heard a number of high-pitched, silly screams go up in a sort of domino effect , and when I turned my head to see what the uproar was about, I found myself watching the bare-assed jogger steadily running deeper into the quad -- ogled by awestruck passersby and sun-bathers -- toward the Undergraduate Library.
