The throat's starting to itch and get scratchy, so I don't think I'll be escaping winter without some sort of an ailment. Still clicking the heels of my boots, though, and drinking much tea.

Had a good first day of the weekend with my parents visiting. Nothing much more than a long day of relaxation and conversation as well as another authentic Mexican meal at the Fiesta Grill on 54. Got my monthly allowance of carne barbacoa and horchata. Spicy and sweet enough to stil have some impact on the swollen tastebuds.

It's good having the folks around, as I tend to forget just how much I enjoy talking with them. Tomorrow, hopefully, will be more of the same, and we'll manage to get to breakfast at the Weaver Street Co-Op -- what we had planned for this morning.

It's late. I'm sick. I'm tired. But tomorrow should be another good one!
