First off, let me say for the record that I have never, ever taken steroids. (I just wanted to get that off my slightly-pumped up chest.) I'm here to test - err, BE - positive about this matter. Yes, your higness -- no, no that wasn't a drug reference -- I promise that I'm taking a fifth of the clear -- uh, I mean Everclear. Dammit! I mean I'm taking the Fifth! (Don't make me angry! You wouldn't like me when I'm angry!)

On another positive note, I just wanted to mention that I completed Heather Delisle's website yesterday and that, for a number of reasons, it warrants a viewing or two.

Heather is a local ceramicist and potter living in Hillsborough, NC, who will soon be doing what most of us only dream of doing: She'll be giving up her day job to pursue her craft, working full time as an artist and creating some pretty amazing earthenware and tile.

It's now long overdue that Steffi and I get the set of six sawdust-fired, Delislian earthenware speheres out of the box and on display...
