Finally. It's finished.
Memory39 is now live and complete. For once I've gotten over that previously-insurmountalbe 80% mark -- i.e., that point at which I'm close to finishing but still tire of the original design and content so much so that I either 1) quit altogether or 2) start from scratch and repeat the same devilish cycle. This time around I told myself I wouldn't put anything up until the entire site was complete...
(If none of this makes sense, I'm not surprised. I'm sleep-deprived and probably haven't given nearly enough exposition to make any of what I've already written particularly clear.)
Anyway, three long weeks of aquiline-nose to the grindstone labor have (hopefully) paid off. I'm sure there are typos, a number of poorly forumlated paragraphs, and the occasional glitch, but it's done and now maybe I can finally get some sound sleep...
