Hey folks, just barely getting by on someone else's wireless signal. Luckily there's a "linksys" out there somewhere putting out a signal that's just barely reaching our house. No telling how long it will take to get this entry back up onto the journalscape server...

The move yesterday went really well, and the cat did, in fact, survive. However, she's not comfortable with all the empty space in our new home and seems to like our bathroom a lot. She's holed up, right now, in the bathtub, snuggled in-between the interior plastic curtain and the bathtub wall, which is also nicely covered by the outer shower curtain. She only comes out occasionally and will sometimes explore parts of the house before some sudden noise or shadow scares her back into the bathtub. It's going to be a tough couple of days for her. The movers come back on Tuesday with all of our belongings and will make yet another large racket. Good things Trinity's already scoped out the bathroom...

Better see if I can save this, but I really just wanted to let everyone know that the trip last night, from 6 to 9:30, went really well, and the drive itself was beautiful. We caught a spectacular sunset in the mountains and were privileged to see a wide range of intense colors along the mountain-pricked skyline.

Now it's back to unpacking what we've brought here and priming for the arrival of all the big stuff.
