Slogging along, with help from my first readers
Sixteen Miles progress:
Okay, I seem to have fallen out of touch with my book again, after a crazy end to last week -- I'm still bummed after my '93 Escort bit the dust at last, just 7,000 miles short of cracking 200,000 miles, so we went out and bought a new car at the last minute (a reliable '06 Corolla). Car payments suck, especially after 8 years without one for the ol' Esquart...
Got some good new stuff written yesterday, while recovering from being out late Saturday at the Coldplay concert. And this morning I tweaked (hopefully for the last time, for a while) the opening 50 pages once more, thanks to feedback from my buddy Greg van Eekhout. Now I'm ready to start jamming on some new wordage again, I hope.
So long as nothing else breaks down, damn it! Later...
