This is a cross-over post from my MySpace blog. I like Blogger better anyhow.

I get to go pick up the keys to my new apartment today. I also sign my lease today. And somehow or another, I managed to completely space out on asking them whether this will be a year-long or a month-to-month or something in-between. This is proof that I should have been a Pisces instead of an Aries. I'm overly practical some of the time, but only when I'm being intentionally obsessive about it. LOL. The rest of the time you may as well be speaking to someone in outer space.

Oh yeah. Keys. Apartment. I'll post pictures of the new place as soon as I can. My first goal for the week, however, is to get a good book, or move my radio, or something else entertaining, and take a bath in my new tub. My current bath tub is barely big enough for a toddler to take a proper bath in, and it's laughable to think of an adult (even a relatively small one like myself) trying to get in and out of it.

My new bathtub, on the other hand, is very big. And it's a claw-foot tub. And it's pretty. And it'll be kind of like sitting in a hot-tub without all the community germs and chemicals. Also without all the jets around the edges, but those usually hurt me anyhow.

I'm concerned that I'm going to feel cramped in this new apartment. It's considerably smaller than my current one. And I know the kitty and I are going to "have words" a number of times while she's adjusting to what it means for it to be "bedtime." She currently gets the bedroom door shut on her at night. But now I am without a bedroom door (but really, who cares... makes for easy access).

But it's just such a beautiful apartment... who cares if it's small. I have a roof right outside my living room window too. Sort of like a balcony. Great for summer. Great for that nasty habit that I still have that often results in cancer and slower mile times in running.
