CNN article: 1 in 5 students practice self-injury article

I was surprised the number was this high, but I've known people who cut themselves. And I thought of that line from one of Cash's songs: "I hurt myself today." And I have to admit that in a variety of ways this is true for me as well. I was thinking the other night what it would mean to refuse to treat myself with violence or disregard, and it would take a lot of work to root out all of the inner dialogue, bad habits, etc.
