i have a ton of stuff to do today, so this will be short. (i heard that sigh of relief in the back there!)thanks to my knight in shining armour,if all goes well (knock on wood) the car should be back in commission by the end of today. (OMG BIG YAY HERE!) it will be nice to be legal and not running from the law like the fugitive i am. court date is monday.... just under the wire. *phew*. poverty's a bitch.

also started on a new quilt... well, not started, but got the first stage done, which would be picking out, buying, washing and ironing. i'm excited about it (like i am on all my quilts, actually) and even the girls said...ooooo mommma ya picked out some good colors there! ive never worked with these colors before (sapphire blue, cranberry and cream) so it was good to get positive feedback on my fabric choices. so today i hope to get to cutting. i tried figuring out exactly what i needed, but since im math challenged i wil get tina to help with it later today. after the car. (OH YAY!)

i have the name picked out for this one already... "New Beginnings"... dontcha like that? i've got the pattern going round and round in my head and i can see it. gonna be gorgeous. : )i don't know the person well who ordered it, but we've spoken a few times and i think i got the vibe on what she wants. she's a nice lady. she has a very personal story i won't recount here (not mine to tell) but suffice to say it's an honor to do this for her.

i LOVE to quilt, i absolutely love it. there's not one part that i hate, cept maybe laying out the sandwhich cause that kills my back. i'm psyched.

it's funny, but i get a vibe on a person and it translates into fabric. pretty cool, that.

okay... it for today peoples... sun is shining, i burned a pile of hate, taking care of business, no shut offs... life is .... well, if not good, it's okay and i'll take okay.
