2005-06-28 10:30 PM every day is an adventure hello all,
miss ya'll like crazy, you know who you are. this is what i believe: i believe you are exactly where you are for a very good reason, even though you may not know what that reason is at the time. someday, with the gift of perspective, you may see the answer. then again, you may never know. i believe you can have all the money you could wish for, but if you have no true friends, even one, you have nothing. i believe that we have one soul mate destined for us, and only one. if you give up, fuck it up, or destroy it, you will never find it again. you may find love, you may find friendship, you may find companionship; but that one true mating of all that's holy comes once a lifetime. i believe that laughter is a gift from God (however you percieve Her to be) and a great belly laugh is right up there on the list with a great orgasm or a great ice cream sundae. i believe that your children are 50% a direct result of your input and 50% resulting from their own intrinsic value. they are a blessing and on loan; a very precious gift. i believe my children are the reason i was born; by the same token, i made sure i had my own identity besides being their mom. i believe that's important for their own growth as well as my own. i believe "mental health" is a myth. i believe "normalcy" is based on nothing more than perspective, and is as fluid as a face reflected in a pool of water. i believe in spite of every obstacle i have faced, of every failure i have endured, of every stressor known to mankind under the face of the universe, i have had an interesting life and that beats the hell out of living bored. boring is for sissys. i further believe in the kiss at the end of the rainbow; that cats are really people in disguise; that i am far from perfect but i have a fucking good time anyway; that texas hold'em poker ROCKS (i'm $2.56 richer in pennies as we speak); that old dogs CAN learn new tricks and that pride is one of the sneakiest and most deadly of sins. i believe you are not limited to the family you are born to; you can make your own family. i believe i am a cowbird, born in the wrong nest, but that's okay. it has made me the person i am today, and while unconventional and offbeat, i like it. i believe in love. not bad for someone dancing around in her forties. **** it might be awhile until my next entry, i'm still not settled but i'm still working on it. i swear, if i ever write it all down i'd have to sell it as fiction. **** i love you guys, and not a day goes by that i don't think of you and wish you good things. i can't wait to get back for good....until then, live an interesting life.... : ) p.s. i believe punctuation sucks stinky monkey balls.
