early in the day

i haven't read the paper yet (besides the classifieds, still looking for a place to lay my head) so i don't have anything newsworthy to rant upon.

yet. the day is young. i'm sure there's something out there that i will have an opinion about. never short of opinions, that's me.

i will say that religiously fanatical people frighten me. there's no room in their world for any view but their own. that kind of narrow-mindedness is probably what led to that poor child's death in florida, which haunted my dreams last night. horrible. i'm sorry i ever read that post.

****

you ever notice when you have a night of bad dreams, the shadows follow you all day?

****

the day is young, but i'm not and i'm feeling it. i'm tired and hope seems a little bit further away from me today. i don't like that feeling, because usually i can be optimistic, for the most part.

****

one foot in front of the other. that's all i can do.

k.

going home hunting. wish me luck, please.

:)
