the heatwave has broken, can you say hallelujah?

*PHEW*

it's actual a normal temperature outside, in the upper 70's. boy, does it feel good...i'd go outside buck naked if i wasn't sure that would clear the whole city out. peep's would be runnin' for the hills like lemmings.

****

the girlchild (not so much a demon today, hallelujah) is having issues with the boyfriendfromhell. yes, i did get my hopes up but no, i ain't keeping them up. i know only too well that it means nothing. in ten minutes they'll be cooing and making those disgusting kissy noises on the phone to each other.

ick.

****

why is it ick when she does it but cute when i do it?

****

got some irons in the fire, and i re-crossed all my crossable body parts, just in case.

what a superstitious lot we humans are.

****

btw....i blog because i like to. i blog because here, at least here, it's all about me. i would blog if no one read me because it's my safety valve, my outlet. if i didn't blog i would swell to the size of a blimp and blow the hell up. nasty.

so i figure my blogging is a gift to those around me so i don't get green icky ichor all over everything.

****

that's it. writing a little bit (SHHHHHHH! no jinxing) and having fun with it, even if it is longhand. as a matter of fact, i got up at 4am with a story idea that just wouldn't leave me alone. maybe this has to do with the initial stress relief of an environmental change. who knows, i welcome it regardless.

****

i'm gonna go enjoy the day...it's too pretty out not to.

:)
