not so much

not so much going on today.

i'm worried about a couple of friends who are having a rough time. the girlchild had a panic attack last night. no rejections in my emailbox, no acceptances either. sent the lastest reject back out into cyberspace. almost done with my mom's present. a friend of my son's was killed in a car accident; the funeral is today. i'm hoping to hear from him later. have three stories printed off for a marathon re-write. whether i'll get to it today or not is up in the air. we have three Katrina families staying here, and hoo doggy what drama! but that's a whole other entry and i'm too wrapped up in the strange planet inside my head to chew that over. my mom's colon exploration went well ( yay! ) but i still think the doc should have bought her flowers. i know that anyone getting close to that orafice should at least buy dinner.

i think i'll shower and change, clean and tidy up the place, and stick my head out the door to see what might happen.

it's a weird vibe today. don't know what it is, but i'm sure all will become clear in the fullness of time.

which is just a verbose way of saying it is what it is, and it will be what it will.

****

gah.
