2006-01-26 11:00 PM just a discussion with myself you know, most of the time i talk here, i freewrite, meaning i just type in what flies through this brain. scary, innit?
**** okay, tomorrow starts the new training. i'm thinking it won't be too much, mostly paperwork stuff. i just love the organizy things. **** still slogging through "George and Tom". it might come in a bit longer than my usual stuff, maybe 4000. woohoo! maybe i'm growing up in the world of written words. **** i had a gift certificate from amazon so i bought some books. i think i almost had an orgasm. **** i saw a program on TV tonight with the girlchild about children of gay parents. it was interesting and enlightening. there was one girl in particular that was auditioning to be drum major at her conservative school. there was concern that she would be passed over because she had two moms. ( what that had to do with her completely escapes me. SHE wasn't gay, her parents were and she didn't choose to be born to them. ) she said the misconception was that gay people come out of gay marraiges, when in truth gay people come from HETEROSEXUAL relationships. amen! and by the way, while i'm ranting, the former drum major said that some people might pull their kids out of band in protest, because it's a conservative and godly community, and it says in the bible homosexuality is a sin. okay. let's explore that just a little, shall we? i know you wanna. it also says in the bible masturbation is a sin. should all kids who are guilty of this be pulled from band? there would be no bands on the planet. it also says in the bible " an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth". there's still a lot of people walking around with eyes and teeth that have no right to them. well, 'cept in kentucky. they have eyes but not many teeth. JOKING! i don't get it and i never will. yes, i can feel the flames of hell on my ass. big deal. i'm used to having a hot ass. p.s. the girl made drum major and no one pulled anyone from the band. maybe there is hope in america. **** spent much of the day with the girlchild, whom i believe is suffering from a certain amount of separation anxiety. she seems to think i am, to an extent, unable to care for myself. like, who's going to do my eyebrows, who's going to paint my toenails, ( yes, we do disgustingly girly stuff together...kinda like the chimps grooming each other ) and things of that nature. i guess when she leaves i'll just be a hairy, unibrowed, unpainted toenail lady. underneath i know she's worried about the physical thingys, ( gawd have mercy, she's got eagle eyes!! ) but they are minimal and totally under control. well, somewhat under control. okay, well, hidden as best i can. sheesh. at any rate, i'm a lot tougher than she thinks. i have shared a lot of things with her, and i know she knows i'm strong, but there's a lot of things held back, and for good reason. i think part of it is she was witness to a lot of dark years, and maybe i've gotten down to the E on the gauge. HOWEVER. there's a lot more fight in this chick. **** the next two days are work days, and since it's the weekend they might be a tad busy, especially with the extra training thrown in. i'm conciously not thinking about the birthday around the corner because...well, i don't wanna. birthdays and holidays to me are in the same arena. just yuck. **** oh, hey...get this. Guido told me i don't have to wear The Amazingly Hideous Polyester Uniform Shirt because he agreed, it doesn't fit right and it looks unprofessional. ( SOTTO VOICE : what part? the sleeves that are six inches too long or the voluminous fabric in the boobage area? ) so, he's going to send the two shirts back and order two more in a butter color ( omg, i hate yellow, but if they fit that's okay ) with a different cut. hopefully they too will not fit right and i'll be off the hook again. he scares me when he's nice. i keep turning around trying to see how much silverware i have stuck in my back. **** alrighty, then. carry on, peoples...i love you all like a fat kid loves cake. i think you know. :) Read/Post Comments (10) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
