i am going to have a Fabulous Day.
when it starts out with hawt sex, cake, and a new CD (by the Boss, no less, fangirly squeal to follow) it's already attained Stellar status. throw in a couple of early phone calls from loved ones and a brief and sweet conversation with a dear one, and wow!
cruising right along.

Bruce Springsteen's CD, Magic, is exactly that and more. i am in total Auditory Heaven, i have to tell you. the E Street Band is back, and it's all new material with the old school feel. his lyrics are, as always, heart-wrenching, emotion-evoking, soul-stirring Weapons Of Mighty Power. Bruce is a *true* artist, in my most humble opinion. he makes me feel, through his music, that i've truly seen the face of god.
simply Fabulous.

i think i might clean and pack a little. i think i might treat myself today with a fiction writing session. i may even snuggle in bed for a bit and read. i'm going to try to stay away from anything work-related, for just today. then, i am looking forward to dinner out. and cake. there should be more cake, and hopefully, dessert.
