all work and no play makes our Heroine very, very tired. said Heroine pays no attention and scoffs in the face of exhaustion (Hah HAH!) but eventually, our Heroine is only human. this, therefore, explains over half the day wasted in a Dazed and Confused Coma.

i did manage to organize the next batch of work, printing off what i needed and making neat little files. i coded a bit, cleaned and packed a little, and worked on one of the two pieces due tomorrow. i still have time, but i was just plain wore out today. i'll be able to finish up in the morning, when my brain is not so fried.

posted a piece of flash yesterday on TSB -- i think it's the first fiction i've done in a long time. only 100 words, but i thought it's doable, and it's a start. if that's all i can sneak in once a week, it'll have to do until i get more time. i started another story, too, but that one is purely for me. it gives me a break in between copy. kinda like drinking a cup of coffee.

it seems the Digestive Monster is back for another go-around. i think Dr. lala is right with her IBS diagnosis. now, to talk her into making a house call. heh.
