Gem arrived safe and sound yesterday and oh my, was the puppy glad to see her or WHAT. he just about wriggled out of his little puppy skin. he was about out of his little puppy mind. it was so. damned. cute. of course, i ceased to exist as soon as she hit the door. :)

we laughed so much last night, over the worm thing. i never thought it would be funny, but the more we talked about it the funnier i got and the more we laughed. it was awesome.
worms. funny. who knew.

so puppy and Gem went visiting, and they won't be back until tomorrow afternoon.
OH MAH GAWD.
24 hours of NO POOP. 24 hours of NO WORMS IN DA POOP. 24 hours of not watching a puppy's butthole to see if it's swelling and turning pink, just waiting to let loose.

okay, there was a slight tug when he got in the car. but i'm over it. don't miss him. nope. not even one little bit.
sparky's already planned a party and is busy with preparations. the funny part is, she doesn't know he'll be back tomorrow.
won't SHE be surprised. heh!!

yesterday was fun. i made creamy beef-potato stew, bread (yes, i made it) and chocolate pie. the stew turned out great (if you want the recipe, email me) and the bread was very tasty. we never touched the pie, so i sent it with Gem today to share.
i had forgotten how much fun it was to cook for other people. i'm not a chef by any means, but i am a fairly good cook and i love to do it. it's too hard to cook for one person, or even two, so there's always leftovers.
i forgot the whole point of this.

i have revisions to do today, and paperwork to catch up. after that, the day is free, and i'm not sure what i'm going to do with it.
now's your Golden Opportunity to tell me what to do. heh!
