2008-04-18 12:57 PM it's a conspiracy on a planetary scale i'm starting to think i'm not supposed to get any sleepies.
**** 4:40 this morning, after falling asleep about 2:30 AM, i was awakened out of a sound sleep to the whole bed shaking. i couldn't make a connection, then i realized the whole ROOM was shaking...the whole HOUSE was shaking. i mean, to the point where i could hear windows rattling, glasses clinking, and things falling over. it lasted about thirty seconds, i'd say. keep in mind my time sense in the best of situations is not-so-good. well, i said to myself, "Self? That was interesting." Self was sound asleep (nothing bothers her) and i soon followed. **** up at six (a creature of habit, i am) but by nine-thirty or so i'd had it. went back to bed, and are you f*cking kidding me? AGAIN? for the love of jumpin' jeezuz.... at that point i was so tired i didn't even care. **** so that's why you find me, at one-fifteen in the afternoon, with bed head, in my jammies, and clueless. well, i'm almost always clueless. and actually, i wear my jammies a lot. oh, and the hair thing....uh. doesn't really look that different from my usual 'do.... **** one other thing i'd like to point out. sparky was sanguine with the whole thing...didn't bother her, really. as long as the food's on time, what does she care? but the puppy? yesterday he threw up a couple of times, but i figured he might have eaten something that didn't agree with him (i mean actually, if he can eat Kitty Snackies, he should be able to handle anything, but i watch him pretty close. strange.) he was playful, pooped and peed, ate, seemed fine. this morning, before the second quake, he threw up again. i'm like, WTF already little buddy, do you have a Disgusting Puppy Disease? we sat on the couch and discussed it for a minute (he required some Hair Maintenance, it was NOT petting or Puppy Loving) and he seemed okay. weird. **** okay, now i really have to get my shit together. the connection here has been wonky the last couple of days, i don't know if it's the weather or the quake, but they'd better get things together. we're still under some kind of severe weather alert (thunderboomers, meaning tonight i'll have a cat up my nether regions) so that's probably the reason. posting while the posting's good...then back to working. finishing up the recipes, then on to two very juicy assignments on mental health. (probably won't even have to research those, heh!) everyone's okay. :) **** ps...does anyone else think David Keith is hawt?? Check out TSB for the most legal fun you can have with your clothes on.
