chillaxifying

i had to take the day off. really. i was on a total overload, so it was time to chillax.

i did a little (very little) housework, decided to do laundry tomorrow, said good-bye to Gem and hello to the little Shittard. (he was happy to see me, for the first time. he actually wriggled and pawed at me until i picked him up. i only did it because...well, because he insisted.) we spent the better part of the day outside because it was so beautiful it would have been a sin to stay inside.

ran to the store with the sunroof open and Brotha Zevon rockin' away. i need to write a JamsBio about that album -- it's the only one of his i have, and i've listened to it about a thousand times. Accidently, like a martyr...the hurt gets worse and the heart gets harder...

i grilled for the first time, baked brownies, and made pasta salad. i think i'm finally getting the hang of cooking in smaller amounts, but the knight will have lunch tomorrow. :)

****

i feel unsettled inside, or something. i can't explain it.

i think i'll just go to bed.
