hummus heaven
my brain is full.
i mean, it's *really* full.
i ended up spending the majority of the day deep in reading about my next step in the Nefarious Plans To Take Over The Universe. i'm on overload.
when i first conceived the idea of the Project, i thought i knew there was a lot to it. what i knew then was just the tip of the iceberg.
now i'm thinking, enough thinking and get on with it already. it's too easy to get bogged down in the technicalities, become discouraged (there's that nasty little voice again, blahcan'tblahcan'tblahcan't) and say, to hell with it. it would be too easy to say, just stick with folding laundry, netta. that's safe, that's a regular paycheck, that's security. you can do that.
but just because i CAN, doesn't mean i SHOULD. just because i can, doesn't mean i can't do other things. because honestly, folding laundry for a living isn't doing it for me.

i found tahini! i had to travel all the way up by where i work, but i found it. when i returned home i whipped up a batch of hummus...and the consensus is, it's not hummus without tahini. wow, what a difference!
eating all those beans can't be good -- but they sure were tasty with homemade pita chips. i'm a little scared how they'll process...but that might be TMI.

tomorrow will be the big Lawn Mow. today it was still raining and too wet. Gem and i are very excited, and we've decided to paint it pink. we'll come up with a name, too. i might even take some pictures.

okay, it's on to the Friday Night Chick Fix and Chat Session. YAY!
