i talked to the editor at JamsBio, and i will be recording not one, but two pieces for them Monday morning. i thought i knew which one they were going to pick, but he threw me a curve ball.

"The Goddess of Love". yikes. the one about sex.

then he said, i loved "Play B6" so much, i don't have a place for it right now, but i want you to record it and i'll find a spot for it later.

fine by me.

i think this is just the shitzolaz.

it makes me want to write a few more, even though now they're non-paying. like, i have a few memories associated with Warren Zevon, Queen, The Police, Sly and the Family Stone, the group that did "Green Beret". stuff like the Ray Coniff singers, Peter Paul and Mary, Carole King, Jim Croce, omg, so many. so many.

that's not even counting the musicals -- "Anything Goes" (and it did, heh) and RHPS, "Gypsy", "Porgy and Bess". some fine, fine music.

the Takeover of the Universe is coming right along -- kudos to my Goddess Partner in Crime for navigating code, and we should be ready for launch pretty soon. that's when the pace *really* steps up. i'm excited.

i have a lot in my head tonight, due in part to a Most Amazing Conversation with a Most Amazing Friend. i even overcame my abhorrence of the phone, and i was glad i did. (see, mdM, i pay attention. :) ) since some of it (well, a goodly amount) was writing related, i'll post that part on WordWebbing, and the more personal stuff i'll probably process here. not tonight, though, because i'm really tired and my bed is singing the siren song.
