catching up

HA HA HA! not really.

heh.

i went to bed early (for me) and now i'm on the night shift. i'm never going to figure when i'm supposed to be eating/sleeping.

i took an extra day shift next week at our sister hotel. WTF, it's not like i have anything else to do (!!!), and they're in Tragic and Dire Straits. i don't have the scoop, Miss S. called me while i was still sitting in the parking lot yesterday.

will you? she asked.

all right. (said in the same manner Whoopi Goldberg said it in "Ghost".)

i adore you, she said.

yeah.

****

sometimes, i think i'm my own worst enemy. i can't seem to get out of my own way. heh.

****

i have a lot to do today. i'm not even sure where to start, but things are progressing and i'm glad of that. still not where i want to be (on several fronts) but i'm on my way, and that's a good feeling.

i've also seemed to attract great friends and kind people lately, and that's a huge comfort. because of certain circumstances of my life (the ongoing Saga that it has been and continues to be,) it's hard not to feel all alone, sometimes. thanks to all of you, my dear friends, thankfully those times are a lot more rare than they used to be.

that's more a gold lining than a silver one. or an aluminum one.

****

one thing i'm NOT looking forward to -- i don't know if you remember, but i blogged about some of it here.

yeah. that guy's back. i'm just grateful i wasn't on second shift the day he checked in. i'm hoping i can dodge him the next two nights. i hope.

****

k, i'm off and running.
