one good thing about covering two shifts is, when i finish up at three on wednesday, i don't have to go in until three on thursday. this is almost like a day off.

'cept tonight was the biweekly BBQ that the hotel puts on for our guests. my Gal Pal, who ships out friday (*snifflewah*), asked me to attend, so i did. it was fun. i had a beer with lime in it. (ick.) we played cards outside in the twilight, sang songs on the radio and we teamed with a Lt. Col. and a pilot == we whomped her ass in a partner's game of spades. took pictures.

i'll miss her when she goes. she's a hella girl, and i'm glad i met her.

of course it went long. just finished up about an hour ago, being on clean-up duty. very pooped, me is.
