this has been a good day. a really good day.
it feels unfamiliar, but i'm willing to get to know it better. :)

the time has come to unveil the Empire. are you excited? i know i am. this is what has been keeping lala and i up late at night and off the streets (much to the relief of all the riff-raff out there, i'm sure.)

it has been one of the most frustrating, exhilarating, complicated things i've ever been involved in. the whole chain of events that led me to this point is just mind-boggling. i've been playing with the idea for a long, long time -- and then, out of the blue, an old and dear friend from Way Back When steered me to a fountain of information -- The Rabbit Hole -- in which i fell and still haven't hit bottom.
i emailed lala and said, how 'bout it? funnily enough, she had just sent me an email with almost the exact same message. two heads and hearts are definitely better than one, and so the Empire was conceived.
i'm sure i've done everything the hard way -- lala has been AMAZING on the tech side, and i have to thank John for his timely interventions (and inspirations) when i was about ready to throw the laptop under a bus.
and this is only the beginning. :)
