i've been compulsively obsessed with the whole Sarah Palin thing. how the rest of the world must be laughing at us -- no one has to mount an attack. we'll destroy ourselves.

the internet connection here has been really wonky -- been out as long as eight to ten hours at a time. this has put a real monkey wrench in my attempts at building an empire, since i have a very bad habit of researching as i go when i write, and it puts a real crimp in website work.

ah, well.
