after this....

"baby watch 2008" has been posted under the private part of the blog. if you'd like to know, just send me an email and i'll send you the sign-on.

thanks.

****

happy birthday to scout :)

i loved my forties. they were difficult, joyous, and liberating. may you find the second two the most often.

semper fi, girly-o.

****

i did get out of bed, even shopped and cooked, did some cleaning. it's like everything is in black and white, except for the flashes of colors -- muted, like through a veil.

when the GC and Uncle Ters giggles about something or when MackDaddy smiles at me when i tell him i'm making enchiladas for dinner. when i read a kind email, or tweak a little something out on WW and it works. watching the Giants kick the shit out of the Redskins. (blue!) talking to people on the phone and they're not mean.

****

i did not feel well at all this afternoon, and tried to sleep for a bit. didn't do so well at that.

****

i have to take some pictures tonight. i'm excited, and that excitement cuts through the veil and i can see clearer things ahead.

this is just a really, really, REALLY steep part of the hill. after that, it's all downhill, right?

hrmmm...

(glass half-full, netta, glass HALF-FULL...heh.)
