sometimes it all comes outtamyhead, and sometimes i'm just outtamyhead. period.
i guess i started this journal thingy out of boredom at a job i used to have. i stay here because i've come to know and love some of the people i've "met". you know who you are!!!

a much calmer day...thank you!!
so far, so good.
took mugsy back to the vet this morning. he seems to be almost 100%. he's got a slight limp, probably just a sore leg from where they left his iv port in overnight, just in case they needed to get some meds in him again quickly. he's eating, drinking, playing, peeing and pooing normally again.
the vet said that when we took him in yesterday he was in shock. that if we'd waited any longer he could very well have had a stroke.
i knew i loved the little guy, but i didn't realize how much until faced with the possibility of losing him. he's probably the most loved doggie in the world right now!!!
got my katherine off to school this morning in all her glory. new jeans, new shoes, new babydoll blouse. and make up. just a little. thank goodness she has a light touch with it, or we'd have serious issues.
she tells me that 7th grade is the time in a girl's life when she starts to pay more attention to how she looks. ya know, hair, make up, clothes. all that "girlie" stuff.
more preening, less sleep.
we'll see how long that lasts.
it was about 62 degrees when i first came outside this morning. it almost felt chilly, but what a relief. it's still nice now (2:30pm). i don't know what the temp is, but the humidity is waaaay down.
i will not clean my house today. i'll wait til tomorrow when the weather is icky again and do it then when i'll want to be indoors.
not today. today is too lovely.
i had another bad tummy day yesterday as well. i decided to do some research on post gall bladder removal and found some wonderful information.
there is a drug called "welchol" that is actually made for high cholesterol, which i now have, that binds the fat in your intestines so that you don't have to be running to the bathroom all the time.
i gave the dr's office a call and he said it would be good for me, seeing as how it would kill two birds with one stone. i picked up the script late last night after things calmed down here.
i might get to have my morning coffee again. i know it doesn't have fat in it, but it's worth a shot! that's been the worst thing about getting older for me - no morning coffee!
(no, netta. it's NOT vaginal dryness!!!)
i hope all my peeps have a chirpy day!! xoxo
