what a great writer. so far Ive read Rainmaker and just finished [minutes ago] The Appeal, and had seen Runaway Jury on DVD. so now I gotta read all his stuff. and he's got a full list'o tomes for me. he doesnt even write right...very little conversatiion, mostly just descriptive passages. and it doesnt hurt the flow of the story at all. I didnt notice if Rainmaker was likr that cuz it read so smooth and the story kept me involved. the only reason I noticed it in Appeal was cuz I looked at one of my own stories and thought it was out of balance with description and yakking. man, I cant wait to get another book by him. S. King'll forever be my fave cuz of the long history we've shared (he wrote, I read--we dont know each other...) but Grisham is drawing up fast. go enjoy your holiday, if thats what youre doing. Im gonna sit back in my chair and read a bit more... |
