From Steven:

"How about a description? A hint of the colors. Also, since there is a second book in the contract, are they thinking of linking the images on the two covers through some motif? Or is it too early to think that way?"

Okay, a very general description: the title in big black letters with dark yellow highlights on the right edges as though the sun was setting on the right and illuminating them. Behind, an image in blue-and-white (as a black-and-white, but blue). No figures. My name in the very center. I think it's pretty striking.

About the next book, it's WAY too early for them to think that way because they know nothing about that book. My editor hasn't asked and I haven't volunteered. I'm hoping no one asks until the book is at least 1/2 done and I can sound 1/2 way intelligent when I answer.

I wouldn't be surprised, though, if the general layout and the fonts used for the next book were similar to what's on this one.
