fooooooooooooood!!!!

Tonight I’m doing my part-part-part time job writing worship resources for the preaching mag—hmm, well, it’s 9:30 already, so I guess I’ll work on them until I run out of steam. In the meantime, just to prime the pump, here is a fun survey on one of my favorite topics.

(abridged from jo(e)’s site)
  • Favorite food to crunch: macadamias—the queen of all nuts
  • Favorite comfort food: tie: macaroni and cheese, sushi
  • Food that makes the best noise: sizzling fajitas as they make their way to your table
  • Favorite picnic lunch: a crisp white wine, cheese and crackers, potato salad, fruit, chocolate something
  • Favorite food scene in movie: the omelet-making scene at the end of Big Night
  • Favorite food lyrics: “frying eggs sound like psalms, with bits of salt measured in my palm; they’re all a part of a sacrament, as holy as the day is spent.” -Carrie Newcomer
  • Least favorite food lyrics: “a taste of honey… tasting much sweeter than wine” -Beatles
  • Best food smell memory: catered BBQ at our rehearsal dinner
  • Favorite summer snack: cheap ice cream, fresh from the ice cream truck
  • Food that reminds me of the ocean: um, seafood?
  • Favorite winter snack: hot cocoa
  • Most likely to eat for lunch: Campbell’s Soup at Hand, crackers, dried fruit
  • Makes me gag: coconut
  • Food tradition I hate: I’m with jo(e)—the wedding cake smashing ritual
  • Saturday night food: whatever R cooks
  • Favorite wild foods: I’m not sure what this means, but I feel a little madcap whenever I eat raw oysters--that whole potential for death thing
  • Favorite medicinal food: throat coat tea
  • Food that reflects my heritage: umm… Kraft Mac and Cheese?
  • Food most like me: Wow. I have no idea.
  • Favorite raw food smell: rosemary

    You know what to do.

    Off to work.
