It's a beautiful day today, cool and sunny. The rain is over and gone and the voice of the dove is heard in our back yard.

Speaking of back yards, it's time to go out there and set the wind damage to rights, make sure anything that got filled with water is emptied and generally tidy up. Another storm is on its way.

I gave blood this morning, so the physical activities will be done in moderation. A great excuse to sit and read! And to be taken out to dinner ("Sorry, dear. I really don't feel up to cooking tonight.")
