How does your garden grow?

The bush beans have unfolded their cotyledons and the primary leaves, still wrinkled and collapsed, are just visible. Time to plant some more, so there will be a second harvest. Dicotyledons rule!

The weather is warm and lazy--mid 80's--and it's hard to work up the frenzy necessary to tackle the hoeing and weeding that's next on the to-do list. I'd rather hang out on the porch and smell the sweet lemon tree blossoms.

Does anybody remember, "Lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flower is sweet,/But the fruit of the poor lemon is imposssible to eat"?
