I learned two things about passive aggressives today.

1. They will promise to do something (thereby blocking you from doing it) but in such a way (as for instance following the exact wording rather than the intent--or doing it two hours too late) as to screw the entire thing. A Jesuit would be challenged to find a finer twister of words and logic.

2. If you let a passive aggressive know what it is you truly care about, that will be the thing he hurts or messes up or forgets.

Therefore, do not care particularly one way or the other--and do the thing yourself if it's important to you.
