I'm happy to report that the spousal (the term I learned from Jane and others) is back to his grumpy non-cooperative self. That's wonderful news, since it means he's fighting back. It scared me to death when he just lay there, compliant, no complaint, waiting for the next event. Now he's requesting certain foods, wants his pillow adjusted just so, where's his book he was reading, not those reading glasses--I want the other glasses.

We won't know for 10 days to 2 weeks the extent of the problem, but at least for the nonce, he's feeling better. My thanks to you all for your good wishes and prayers.

Now, if the Lord is willin' and the crick don't rise, I'm going to get some real sleep in a real bed, not 10 minute naps in the most uncomfortable chairs ever invented since the world began.
