Appetizer: Name something someone has done lately that impressed you.
Someone close to me recently gave an impassioned speech on a subject dear to both of our hearts, knowing that his audience has pre-judged the issue and was dead set against it. I give him major applause for his courage and being true to his convictions, though he had few, if any, supporters in that audience. Certainly none with the courage to speak up.

Soup: Do you have any relaxing rituals? If so, what are they?
I read in the evening, then I play a couple rounds of Tetris, the mindless kind of game that allows your conscious brain to disengage and your emotions to unwind. Not very spiritual or mystical, I'm afraid, but without a "buffer" period, I toss and turn and go over the day's events endlessly, unable to relax and sleep.

Salad: If you could spend the winter season somewhere other than your current location, where would you choose to stay?
I would go back to some place with snow and antique farms and hayrides and horses blowing so you can see their breath, and...and...

Main Course: When was the last time you had dinner out, and what was the name of the restaurant?
There's a little local restaurant down the road called Gilhoolie's and they have a fetish for fresh fish. I seldom eat fish in a restaurant, because it has been resting in the refrigerator too long, but Gil's is just out of the water. And fairly inexpensive.

Dessert: If you had a boat, what would you name it?
KAT CIAO
