It is, at this moment, 111 degrees Fahrenheit (it's too hot to make the effort to convert that into Celsius). Even the car's air conditioning was having trouble coping with the heat today as I went all over town, schlepping my old man from one errand to another.

After waiting 15 minutes in an office where the A/C had died and the employees were wilting fast, the old man had had enough and decreed it was time to go home. We arrived at the front door just as the news announced that it was the hottest July 22nd ever recorded in our neck of the woods. No kidding.

The heat from this laptop is warming me up, so I'll close for today. When are we going to get a break in the weather?
