Packaging of Electronics

I bought a wireless mouse on Amazon.com for the ridiculously low price of $9.95. It's a mouse for a laptop, but it works just fine on my desktop computer.

Now that I've been able to get at the darned thing, that is. The packaging!

I cannot believe how difficult it is to get into the plastic covers of electronic goodies. I could barely cut the edge with scissors; I sliced my hand open on the sharp corners and bleeded all over my desk; I finally destroyed the tough plastic protective package thoroughly enough to extract the mouse, the CD, and the thumb-sized USB receiver.

No wonder little old ladies don't use computers/electronics. They can't get the damned packages open!
