When Barack Obama won the Iowa primary by 3% of the vote, the press wrote about the "stunning" vote, "swept to victory" in the caucuses.

When John McCain won the Florida primary by 4% of the vote, it was described as "narrow" win over his challenger, Mitt Romney.

Do the media try to stir up controversy or concern by their choice of words? Is reality skewed by reporters needing good copy? Are we bombarded by propaganda on every side?

How could you even think such a thing! This is an open democracy, isn't it?
