Whither the Weather

This morning and early afternoon were bright and sunny, not a cloud in the sky, temperatures in the low 70's. The tomatoes were singing duets and rounds in the back yard; the cats were yowling counterpoint as they batted at small insects and taunted the next door dogs over the fence.

Then about 4 p.m, the wind came up, whipping around corners, scattering leaves and cats to the far corners of the yard.

The tomatoes, hushed, wait for the outcome. The sky has clouded over and the temperature has dropped precipitately. Will there be precipitation?

Tune in tomorrow.
