Good comments regarding "Trip" entry. I'll be putting vitamins and supplements (to keep MS under control) in those pill boxes that are labelled by day of the week. If I were required to toss them out, it would not be a major crisis. I would just feel ache-y and tired and cranky on occasion, but still functional.

Prescription meds no problem: blood pressure and cholesterol, getting copies of prescriptions from doctor to carry with.

I'll check with my local bank about getting Euros. I can remember when the dollar was in better shape and the exchange rate was higher. Sue--thanks for the url for currency exchange.

This morning was productive. Trader Joe's for groceries, pet store for kitty treats and litter (like babies, taking care of both ends), bank to get singles for SO to use on public transit and $5 bills for me for small change on hand. Also went to UPS to send back a printer that SO ordered from Amazon and then decided he didn't want. Charge for shipping was $43. I suggested that perhaps next time he might want to choose more carefully.

Then home to do laundry, water plants inside and out and make up meds for SO. Not to mention make lunch and eat it. Then I ordered something from one of my preferred sites online to bring as a gift. One of my very favorite things to do is to give something nice to someone. It's as much a gift to me as it is to the other person.

It's 3 p.m. and time to move on to the next exciting chapter in the story of My Weekend Life.

This evening I'm going to a Vegan Dinner hosted by our UU church. Any time you want to get a bunch of UUs together, just lay out the food and invite everyone, and start a conversation. Everyone who can walk, crawl, swim or fly will be there. OPAC a must, of course.

It's in the mid-90's now. Good time for a shower to get clean and to cool down. If Jasmine were still alive, this would be the kind of day we'd go play with hoses and sprinklers in the back yard. I miss her still.
