Campaign finance reform: Supreme Court has sided with proponents of corporate personhood who believe that corporations, as representatives of their shareholders, were intended by the founders and framers to enjoy many, if not all, of the same rights as natural persons, for example, the right against self-incrimination, right to privacy and the right to lobby the government.

Elections: In Massachusetts, Candidates and groups that supported Scott Brown spent nearly $23 million on Tuesday's US Senate election, burning through nearly all of it in the frenzied final three weeks of the contest, proving that indeed, elections can be bought and that the Democratic Party will roll over and play dead.
